WHO WE ARE
Newton West Little League, an affiliate of Little League International, Inc. (www.littleleague.org) runs a co-ed, youth baseball program for children aged 4-12.
OVERVIEW
There are five levels ('Divisions') of play:
Tee-ball
Farm (coach pitch)
AA (kid-pitch)
AAA
Majors
Placement is based on age, grade, and ability.
Evaluations (or 'tryouts') are held in the Spring and, along with the previous year's coach's evaluation (if available), are used to aid in proper team placement.
ELIGIBILITY
If you live in the Burr, Franklin, or Williams school district you are eligible to play in Newton West. You do not have to attend one of those schools but you must reside in one of those districts.
